Psychology - the scientific study of the human behaviors - always
fascinates me. Besides my career in music, I am also a qualified
clinical psychologist in Hong Kong.

Synergy of music and psychology - How music could be used positively to promote our mental well-being and to improve our quality of life.
- Positive psychology - Instead of emphasizing on "curing" illnesses, I see the
importance
of
helping people (and of course, myself too) develop the skills to experience positive
emotions,
nurture optimistic thinking, enhance sense of control, and lead a full and
happy life.
- Children emotional and social development - I see prevention and early intervention work among children as particularly meaningful. If we can help our children grow with love and happiness today, we may see a better world tomorrow.
Professional Practise - Innovative "Feeling Good Workshops" - I have been developing workshops that integrate music and psychological techniques to help children learn about emotion management and social skills. The responses from the children and their parents have been exciting and encouraging so far. My clients includes children with autism, behavioral problems, and those from the general public.

- Publication of Children Story Book Series - I have co-authored with two other clinical psychologists a book series that has funny stories developed around a group of cutie dragon characters. The stories aim at helping children and their family deal with some common emotional and behavioral problems, in a playful way. The series come with an audio CD, with myself reading the stories, and also with original music scoring and sound effects. Do feel free to have a listen to the sample tracks, and your comments are most welcomed.
It is among my many aspirations to do more creative work with my musical skills and psychological expertise combined - a whole new world to explore. And it is fun !
